BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — It will soon be showtime for the deluxe movie theater with a food market coming to the fourth floor of Mall of America.
CMX Market Cinema is set to roll out May 4. The 13-screen theater with oversized recliners, swivel tables and Real D 3D and state of the art audio technology will come with a 1,650-square-foot culinary market area.
The theater’s CMX Market will include stations dishing up pizzas made from scratch, burgers and handspun shakes, a deli with salads, sandwiches, cheese and charcuterie platters as well as wine and beer, according to a Mall of America news release.
Because you can’t have a movie theater without popcorn, there will be a Popcorn Lab, and CMX Market will have a center bar where moviegoers can grab drinks such as wine and cocktails.
Admission for the theater will range from $5 to $14. There will also be a feature called Terrific Tuesdays, where admission will be $5 all day.
